Day One

You will travel to Leon (BJX) Guanajuato, 200 miles north of Mexico City. Airfare is not included. Required arrival time is 2:00 p.m. You will be met by our escort, and driven by private driver to the hospital in Celaya. The appointment for your consultation with the doctor will have been prearranged. The required preoperative tests will be done at this time and you will be examined by the cardiologist. After your tests and consultation have been completed you will be taken to your private room with bath in the hospital. You are free for the evening to unpack and enjoy a nice dinner. Your surgery is scheduled for the following morning. Your spouse or a friend is invited to stay with you, in your room which is equipped with a hospital bed and a single bed! (No charge.)

Day Two

Your surgery is performed in the morning in this state-of-the-art full facility private hospital! This hospital and the operating rooms are comparable to the hospitals in the U.S. The most up-to-date surgical procedures (SMAS - submuscular technique) are used, which are explained to you in detail during your consultation! The Tumescent procedure is used for liposuction. 

Day Three

Convalescence in the hospital; you will be seen twice daily by the surgeon. The efficient staff of nurses see to your comfort on a 24 hour basis. The doctor also has an assistant who will see to your every need. She and all the doctors speak English fluently. 

Day Four

After lunch, the doctor will come to your room for a checkup to make sure you are ready for the scenic drive, in our private car, to San Miguel de Allende! Your lovely room awaits you at Club Casa Marino.

Day Five through Eight

You may spend the balance of your time in a private cloistered environment enjoying room service and U.S. movie channels in your room if you wish... or you may enjoy the historic colonial city of San Miguel founded in 1542. "It's like going back in time!" Rich in culture and the arts, visitors are quickly enamored by San Miguel's splendor.. .from jazz to mariachis to discos, a bullfight or a play, the town stirs with activity. The "JARDIN" or town square is within walking distance on cobblestone streets from your hotel. It's very safe and pleasant to walk in San Miguel, but if you prefer, for $2 U.S. You can take a taxi to almost anywhere. Mexican people are sweet and charming. It seems the 20th century has not reached this mountain "SHANGRI-LA", neither have U.S. prices. A gourmet dinner for two is about $15.00 U.S. at one of San Miguel's fine restaurants.  Over 10,000 Americans live here full time.

Day Nine

The doctor will come to the hotel to remove your stitches or if you prefer you may return to the hospital. At this time he will be assured that you are ready to travel the next day for your return flight back to the U.S. (Of course you may stay as long as you wish to enjoy San Miguel or to return home within approximately three weeks from the date of your surgery and nobody will ever know!)

Day Ten

Our car will be at Club Casa Marino after breakfast to drive you to the airport for your flight back to the U.S.
